Founded by the Italian musician, spiritual agitator Marco S. Vermiglio in 2018, FLAMEKEEPER is a groundbreaking force that blends Epic Heavy Metal, Hard Rock and Folk into a unique sound that defies easy categorization. While they resonate with fans of Manowar, Primordial, Bathory and Dio, Flamekeeper are establishing themselves as a standalone act. Their songs are anthems of freedom, featuring iconic choruses that engage audiences and inspire sing-alongs.

Based in Stockholm, the international mosaic that constitutes the FLAMEKEEPER’s live
line-up a brings a Southern European heritage that contributes to their unique sound and stage presence, featuring Filipe Jesus Minhava from Portugal on guitar, Davide Benincaso from Italy on bass and Axel Johansson from Sweden on drums, with Marco S. Vermiglio leading the band as the main vocalist.

Flamekeeper has already captivated audiences at the House of the Holy Festival in Austria and Old Grave Fest in Romania, and with one-off performances in Italy, Sweden, Finland, and Switzerland.
